Ivy League, doll. That's along the likes of Harvard and Princeton and Yale. As in, really, really prestigious. The Oxford and Cambridge of America. Come on, Commonwealther, surely you've at least heard of Oxford.
I may be a member of the Commonwealth, but, in case you've forgotten, I'M AUSTRALIAN! While I know Oxford is meant to be swish, I don't know that because I've never seen it or tried to get into it. Same story with Harvard. I've heard that it's the silks of the academic world, but ... yeah. *shrug*
Talk about the University of Queensland, or Queensland University of Technology with regards to their law or medical degrees and I'll understand, though.
