Super Quick Update

Long time no hear from me, yes? I have to make this quick - tons of things that I'm putting off by trying to be on the computer for five seconds.

Long story short for now -

I'm in the process of moving, which, for some reason, has been a chore. I'm working a lot for a thousand different reasons (that's a later story) and my computer is dying (I'm not even on it now, I'm on Adam's). I'll be without internet for a short while (hopefully very short). Once that's hooked up and I figure out what's wrong with my computer (even if I don't, I can steal Adam's) I should be back once again.

If anyone wants to talk to me when I'm not here, feel free to text me via LJ or aim (euroash8064). I text back. =) I love it when Christy texts me. *giggle*

Okay - so my apologies for not being around - I had been working on the last chapter of wdmc and a new short story that'll go up soon PLUS there's a thousand things I'm missing out on at UR...

*laughs* Yes, infact, I'm on his Mac again. It's a PowerBook G4 if that means anything? Christy said it was good I think. Anyway - I'm going to need a new computer soon and I think he's talked me (along with all you other crazy Apple people) to go Mac.

There. Happy? I hope you all are. I've admitted it. I'm going to go Mac. I'm going to do the Switch.

I'm scared.

I'd say 'welcome to the dark side,' but the Apple world is SO not the dark side by any stretch of the imagination. So I'll just say 'mazel tov on your new enlightenment.' Doesn't that sound much better?

Yes, a PowerBook G4 is indeedy a good computer. It's really strong and has great programs for graphic design, which is obvs why Adam has it.

But anyway. Prom was last night and I literally haven't slept all night (I watched the sun rise, it was brill) except for like a twenty minute power nap, and i'm going to go to school in a bit to make an appearance at the Student Council fair. Let's just hope that I a. don't fall asleep on the street on the way there and b. don't get caught in the eventual downpour that's scheduled to happen.

*grins* Well, I'm happy to have met your approval on the computer future in question. I still haven't exactly decided but I think (hopefully soonish) Adam's going to get me a Mac Mini. Be sure to know that when Adam's not around (or refuses to explain it to me) when I have questions, I'll be hitting you and Chris up. *grin*

Aw! How was prom? Did you make an entry (I haven't caught up on LJ yet)? I want details! I want PICS!!!

You're right, it's ridiculous how we don't talk so often anymore. I know you've been busy and so have I. HOPEFULLY, we can remedy this very soon. I start nine days of vacation on Wednesday. Be prepared for silly conversations to resume.

Ooooh Mac Mini! You know, I've never been sure about how it works. I assume that you plug a keyboard, screen and mouse into it? I've always thought of it as like the actual computer part, like how PCs have that big clunky thing... But yes. If you ever have Apple issues (which you WON'T), I'm always here.

Prom was amazing. My expectations for it weren't that high from the beginning and maybe that's why it seemed so fun, but I just had such an amazing time from pre-pre-prom to hailing a cab home the next morning. I haven't done an entry on it yet (I actually haven't posted in three weeks - yikes!), so no worries, you haven't missed anything yet. I'm going to make an entry in a bit and then do a separate prom entry like tomorrow or something.

Me? Busy? Pssh! I haven't had to be in school since two Tuesdays ago. Mwahaha! I've pretty much been hanging out with friends and Rita so I guess I've KINDA been busy, but it isn't like work-related busy, you know? But yes. Wednesday, the silliness commences!

Yep, that's how the Mac Mini works. It's so cute! I always see them in Apple Stores and feel like cuddling them somehow--they're just so tiny and adorable!
